EstHus OÜ is highly rated Estonian manufacturer of prefabricated timber frame houses. We produce and assemble high-quality element houses and MHM – Massiv-Holz-Mauer®.
The elements (walls, floors/ceilings and roofs) and MHM – Massiv-Holz-Mauer® are produced and built efficiently with all services, trades and materials project managed and supervised in our factories.
Our products are made from high-quality, dry and environmentally friendly materials in controlled conditions of factory using only recognised and approved materials. A whole production process is resource-wise, which ensures flexibility, quality, competitive price and on-time delivery. We are using documented tracking system in our production process that allows exact tracking of the movement of materials from the warehouse to production and from production to the finished products. At every work stage the employees are personally responsible for the quality of their work.
We have gathered together a team with many years experience in construction and production of timber frame houses to maintain high standards of design and construction. Thanks to the quality management system we can guarantee that houses will be produced according to project documentation.
Most of our production is custom made with respect to ideas by the client. Therefore each house is a unique project and effort for us.
When choosing EstHus as your partner you can rest assured that we take care of everything- engineering, production, shipment and even assembly of prefabricated constructions. Our aim is to meet all expectations and to be reliable long-term partner for our clients.
We have two contemporary factories in Estonia- one factory is located in Tartu city and the other is located near Tartu, in Vedu village. The total area of production facilities is about 5 350 m2.
EstHus is producing high-quality prefab element structures by using special software, trained employees and modern fully automated devices:
EstHus is recognized company and has accomplished following certificates:
Brand name EstHus gathers together three companies:
Our mission at EstHus is to create energy efficient and healthy environment for living. It´s achievable only through resource-wise construction, which means producing houses in a cost-effective way:
MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND HIGHER QUALITY
3D computer modelling allows to work out the most efficient and innovative constructions. Our modern production technology with online quality control system is ensuring highest standards and minimising environmental impact by reducing running costs of houses. Precision engineering combined with controlled producing systems ensures precise conformity to building code standards and greater quality assurance. Combining traditional timber frame constructions with massive solid timber constructions (MHM), we are able to develop much thinner timber frame elements, which are highly energy efficient at the same time.
WOOD AS RENEWABLE MATERIAL
Timber frame houses have a much smaller carbon foot print than traditional building due timber is the only fully renewable building material. By using timber in construction, we are able to reduce emissions into the atmosphere as well as the resulting negative impact on the environment. Timber has unique characteristics for ensuring excellent indoor climate, including also strength, durability, natural heat resistance and stability.
FAST AND EFFECTIVE CONSTRUCTION
Today the time cost´s and to save the cost´s it´s necessary to speed up the whole building process. Prefabricated components are just giving this advantage to speed up construction time, resulting in lower labour costs. And in addition, the material consumption in factory will be optimised to a maximum extent. Controlling the climate of timber frame house production helps to reduce the impact of different climatic conditions to a minimum and ensuring thereby all year round assembling and a higher quality of the building.
LONGER LIFE SPAN AND HUGE COMMERCIAL GAINS
Since all elements are built in a dried moisture-free and controlled environment, a house with a good timber frame is expected to last up to a centuries. Therefore prefabricated timber frame houses have unchanging property value since it remains inhabitable for a long time. For a property developer, a quicker turnaround time to complete a development brings huge commercial gains and savings.
