Our solid wood wall units are modelled on our indigenous trees. They require neither glue nor chemical treatment. The Massiv-Holz-Mauer® consists of dried softwood joined together by fluted aluminium nails to form a solid, vapour permeable wall.
The Massiv-Holz-Mauer® is easy to reuse and can be directly released for recycling at the end of its life cycle. The elements can thus serve future generations as CO2-neutral fuel in the form of wood chips.

Comfortable interior atmosphere
Through the use of dried wood and no adhesive or grout whatsoever, a dry and comfortable atmosphere is immediately perceptible in a MHM building right from the start. The material balances out temperature fluctuations and so regulates the interior atmosphere.
Individual floor plan
If you have an unusual floor plan in mind, Massiv-Holz-Mauer® is the perfect answer because its versatility makes any floor plan possible – there are no restrictive grid patterns. Additional advantages are the freedom of choice in the wall geometry, in the individual design of the facade and in the insulation standard.
The Massiv-Holz-Mauer® is manufactured with a specially developed MHM production line in sawmills or carpentry shops. Your floor plan is designed using CAD software and manufactured with computer-controlled machine tools. The high degree of prefabrication guarantees simple, fast and safe installation of your building shell.
Quick to erect
Your MHM house or MHM building is prefabricated by specialists and it takes only about 2-3 days to erect a private house. That shortens the site time for cranes and scaffolding.
Flexible interior finishing
The MHM wall can still be easily processed on the construction site. Any possible modifications such as e.g. power sockets can thus be easily reworked. We recommend semi-natural materials for interior finishing to further support the positive properties of wood as a natural material, such as its permeability.
EstHus facade elements are high-quality timber frame wall elements for external use considering Client´s wishes and design. According to requirements, different size of timber frame can be used to achieve wished thermal conditions and bear the vertical loads exerted on the wall. Generally we install already in factory the windows and balcony doors into the timber frame wall elements to save the costly time at the building site and to ensure the high quality level. If the Client has project for electricity we also are able to install plastic pipes for electrical cables and special boxes for sockets and switches. This will give a good opportunity to cover prefabricated wall elements with required boards from both sides without needing to remove them at the building site and ensures the completeness of different material layers of wall element. This is very important for keeping the building airtight. In the factory it´s possible also to install desired facade materials (vertical or horizontal cladding, different facade boards etc) on the prefabricated facade elements to have completed as much as possible before starts the on-site building process.

EstHus internal wall elements are high-quality timber frame wall elements for internal use considering Client´s wishes and design. Besides separating rooms from each other, internal walls give the entire building rigidity – the stability of the building is assured by connecting internal walls with external walls and inserted ceilings. According to requirements, different size of timber frame can be used to achieve calculated static conditions. Depending on design and static calculations, the purpose of internal wall element can be bearing or non-bearing. In order to achieve the required fire resistance, the internal wall elements can already be constructed with such building boards (gypsum, fiber boards and other fire resistant building boards). If the Client has project for electricity we also are able to install plastic pipes for electrical cables and special boxes for sockets and switches. This will give a good opportunity to cover prefabricated wall elements with required boards from both sides without needing to remove them at the building site and ensures the completeness of different material layers of wall element. This is very important for keeping the building airtight.

EstHus ceiling/floor elements are high-quality timber frame elements for internal use considering Client´s wishes and design. Ceiling/floor elements have a major role in the construction of prefabricated timber frame houses. They need to be stable, tough and hold heavy loads at the same time. Depending on design and static calculations, the ceiling construction can be made from timber beams, glue laminated beams, I-beams or Posi-joist beams. Additionally can be used steel beams and columns for supporting the construction. In order to achieve the required fire resistance, the ceiling/floor elements can already be constructed with such building boards (gypsum, fiber boards and other fire resistant building boards) and the wooden structure of ceiling element itself is protected from fire by rock wool. For improving the soundproof, different kind of solutions can be used: special acoustic battens of metal, acoustic isolation strips made of rubber and special building boards. The top layer of ceiling/floor elements is made of moisture proof chipboard on which all required layers can be installed on site depending on the purpose of the room, from parquet flooring to ceramic tiles. For the underside of the ceiling elements we deliver battens and gypsum board or ceiling boarding that will be installed on site after special works (piping, electricity, venting) are finished.

EstHus roof elements are high-quality timber frame elements for external use considering Client´s wishes and design. Depending on design and static calculations, the roof construction can be made from rafters, glue laminated beams or I-beams. The roof has to carry the loads arising from rain, snow and wind as well as the occasional movement of persons and therefore needs to be built rigidly enough. The solutions for the top covering part of the roof element are different– tiles, sheet metal or rolled roofing material. The installation of a roof covering in the factory allows to make the building quickly weatherproof.

EstHus terrace and balcony elements are high-quality timber frame elements for external use considering Client´s wishes and design. Terraces are produced from impregnated wood and are generally not watertight. The terrace will be provided with barriers when the architectural project requires it or it´s necessary for any safety reasons. Due balconies need to hold loads the load-bearing elements of the balcony consist pillars and beams. Balcony elements usually are watertight but can be also water permeable if needed. Balconies are always equipped with barriers and the choice of them is wide – wood, steel, stainless steel and their combinations with glass or metal meshes. Using prefabricated terrace and balcony elements helps substantially save the expensive construction time at the site.
